Call for Papers

For 37 years, the International CAE Conference has striven to provide exhaustive and up-to-date information regarding both the technologies available for engineering simulation, and the knowledge necessary for their use (where, when, why, and how to use them successfully). Over the past few years, the International CAE Conference has broadened its focus to include the interactions with the other technologies that enable the digital transformation. These are an essential and substantial part of any successful process, which cannot occur without temporal sustainability and value. However, the presumption in many cases, is that engineering simulation is the choreographer and orchestrator of a sustainable and effective transformation process.

The 2021 edition will focus on the trends, technologies, issues and how-to’s of sustainable and successful digital transformation, and the key role that engineering simulation has to play in achieving the desired outcome.

CONFERENCE SESSIONS

The conference welcomes papers for the industrial sectors listed below that not only highlight the value of engineering simulation, but that also illustrate the pervasiveness of simulation-based engineering and sciences (SBES) pushing the boundaries of simulation and driving the digital transformation of industry with a sustainable approach.

  •  Aerospace & Defense
  •  Automotive & Transportation
  •  Energy, Oil & Gas
  •  Manufacturing

SUBMIT YOUR ABSTRACT

The International CAE Conference invites contributions to the three-day program that address the landscape of Simulation Based Engineering and Sciences and digital transformation, and that cover both the outstanding achievements of today as well as the ground-breaking prospects for the future.

Submit an abstract that provides leading insights, illustrates success stories, or showcases how engineering applications and/or technology has been adopted to embrace and overcome industry challenges and achieve digital transformation, for your chance to present to a global audience of industry decision makers and professionals.

All abstracts must be submitted for consideration by the 25th June 2021 using the online submission form.

Abstracts (1000 characters max.) should clearly state the paper’s title, the author’s name(s), the organization, and its contact details (address, telephone number and email address).

Successful applicants will be informed by the conference committee no later than the 4th July.

The full paper must be submitted no later than the 15th October.

The selected speakers will participate in the event either physically or remotely, and/or joining the technical session at the scheduled time (in situ or via live video connection, according to the program).

CONFERENCE SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Please submit your abstract, which should be no more than 1000 characters in length, by the 25th June 2021.

If successful, please submit your paper, which should be no more than 8 pages in length, by the 15th of October.

Please also be aware that your paper will be included in the Conference Proceedings Collection online that can be downloaded by all participants after the event.

Commercial papers (i.e. advertising a product) will not be accepted, so please emphasize the research and innovative content, the technical application of CAE technologies, or the approach to digital transformation using simulation tools, when submitting your abstract for consideration.

Consent

By submitting their article, abstract or paper, both using the on-line system and/or by other means, the authors explicitly allow the International CAE Conference Organization to publish their work for an undetermined period of time on web sites and to disseminate it through media of any kind, with the only limit being that the medium and context do not negatively affect the authors' image and professionalism. Conference presentations will be recorded.
As participants in the Conference, the author(s) declare to have been duly informed under section 13 of Italian law 196/2003 on the protection of personal data and in accordance with EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) no. 679/2016, and they hereby AUTHORIZE EnginSoft S.p.A. to the processing of their personal data, including any video and photo images taken during the activities of the International CAE Conference or related events and activities, with the understanding that such video and photo images shall be used solely for promotional purposes.
